ShinWon Rolls Out AI-Powered RFID Tunnel System Worldwide: delivering zero packaging errors and real-time supply chain transparency

Date:

  • Develops proprietary RFID solution to address key challenges in global apparel manufacturing, enhancing inventory and logistics accuracy
  • Implements end-to-end traceability to align buyer orders with actual shipments, accelerating digital transformation
  • Extends innovation into AI and sustainability—setting new standards in predictive production management and eco-efficient logistics

(Seoul, South Korea – November 26th, 2025) – ShinWon Corporation (CEO: JJ Park), a leading global apparel manufacturer, announced that it will expand the rollout of its self-developed RFID Tunnel System across all its global subsidiaries. The initiative aims to completely eliminate packaging errors and establish a new industry standard for end-to-end transparency throughout its global supply chain—from production to shipment.

In the fashion manufacturing industry, characterized by high-mix, low-volume production and complex global supply chains, improving inventory visibility and logistics efficiency has long been a challenge. Traditional barcode-based management systems have shown limitations due to heavy reliance on manual labor and delayed real-time data updates.

ShinWon’s RFID Tunnel System automatically verifies product quantities as items pass through a tunnel equipped with high-performance RFID readers. Built on ShinWon’s proprietary software, the system integrates with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to generate accurate packing lists. It leverages AI automation to recognize packaging information and cross-checks tag data in real time, ensuring exceptional precision and operational efficiency.

At ShinWon’s PT. Fashion Stitch Joshua in Indonesia, where the system has been in operation, inspection efficiency has improved by approximately 32%. The factory now inspects around 1,740 cartons per day—equivalent to roughly 30,000 garments—and can process up to 2,500 cartons simultaneously during multi-line inspections. Additionally, by reducing the tunnel length from 5 meters to 3.2 meters, space utilization improved by more than 30%, enabling more lines to be installed within the same footprint.

ShinWon expects the global implementation of the RFID Tunnel System to enhance packaging accuracy and strengthen trust and satisfaction among its global buyers. The company also aims to achieve “Zero Claim” status through enhanced quality stabilization and data-driven operational excellence.

ShinWon plans to complete the rollout of the RFID Tunnel System to all overseas subsidiaries by the first quarter of next year. Once fully implemented, the company will establish a comprehensive internal traceability system, capable of monitoring and validating every step—from packaging to shipment—in real time, effectively eliminating discrepancies between buyer order quantities and actual deliveries.

ShinWon is also integrating RFID and UPC technologies to build and pilot an end-to-end (E2E) traceability system that spans the entire supply chain—from raw cotton and fabric production to garment manufacturing and global distribution—and is planning for full implementation. Furthermore, the company plans to broaden its technology applications through AI-driven predictive production management and sustainable logistics optimization solutions.

Peter Lee, Manager of ShinWon’s Smart Engineering Team, stated, “The global expansion of our RFID Tunnel System marks a significant milestone in driving digital transformation across the fashion manufacturing industry. By enhancing supply chain transparency and transforming inventory management, ShinWon is strengthening partnerships with global clients while contributing to a more sustainable fashion ecosystem.”

In addition, ShinWon has adopted the blockchain-based traceability platform to systematically monitor and ensure ethical compliance among its supply partners. The company continues to innovate its design processes by applying advanced technologies such as Generative AI design, AI agent-based interactive VR showrooms, and immersive VR experiences. At the same time, ShinWon utilizes AI-powered data analytics to conduct online sales, trends, and social media analyses, offering buyers trend forecasting solution powered by machine learning and deep learning.
