ASICS’ Athletes Harmanjot Singh and Bhagirathi Deliver Strong Finishes at TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2026

Date:

NATIONAL, APRIL 26th , 2026: ASICS, the global Japanese sportswear brand, marked a commanding presence at the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2026 as the Official Sports Goods Partner, with its athletes securing top finishes across elite categories. This strong showing reinforces the brand’s growing strength in India’s performance running landscape. Harmanjot Singh clinched first place in the Indian Elite Men’s category with a timing of 00:29:13, while Bhagirathi secured third place in the Indian Elite Women’s category with a timing of 00:35:29.

Extending this commitment beyond elite performance, ASICS brought its focus on community engagement to life through on-ground experiences. At the centre of this was the ASICS House, a dedicated post-race space designed to enable deeper engagement with the running community. The space served as an experiential hub for runners across categories, featuring customization stations, photo booths and giveaways. Along the race route, a Motivation Zone led by members of the ASICS Run Club (ARC) encouraged and energised participants, supporting them in completing the race with a renewed sense of strength.

Building on its ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy, ASICS spotlighted stories of discipline, resilience and progress within the running community through curated content initiatives. The brand featured everyday runners, embodying the philosophy and highlighting how it supports performance while positively influencing everyday life.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Rajat Khurana, Managing Director, ASICS India and South ASIA, said, “Bengaluru is setting the pace for how running is evolving in India. We’re seeing a clear shift from participation-led to performance-led running, where runners are training with greater intent, structure and awareness. The TCS World 10K reflects this evolution, closely aligning with our ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy at ASICS. We believe performance is not built in isolation, but through a balanced approach that integrates physical training, mental resilience and recovery. The performances by Harmanjot and Bhagirathi are a strong reflection of this mindset, and set the benchmark for distance running in India.”

ASICS’ association with the TCS World 10K Bengaluru reflects its broader vision to shape the future of running in India. Across key hubs such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, the brand is building a more structured and performance-driven ecosystem, supporting both elite athletes and the wider running community. By combining athlete performance, community engagement and a focus on holistic wellbeing, ASICS continues to strengthen its role in advancing a more disciplined and aspirational running culture in the country.
