Bharat Tex 2024 to scale up India’s textile sector

The largest global textile event Organised by a Consortium of 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and Supported by the Ministry of Textiles is only a few days away
Bharat Tex 2024, is inspired by the 5F vision of the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi which covers Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign. Bharat Tex 2024 is a global textile event in India being organized by the 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and is supported by the Ministry of Textiles, the show is scheduled from 26 – 29 February 2024 in New Delhi, at Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi.

India is the world’s second-largest producer of textiles and garments, India’s textile and apparel market size is USD 154 BN and its contribution to the country’s GDP is 2.3%, 11% to exports, and 7% contribution to the country’s industrial output. This sector employs around 45 million people with 70% women workforce. The size of India’s textile industry to expected to double by 2030. There is a huge potential and opportunity in India’s textile and apparel industry, Bharat Tex 2024 is going to play a pivotal role in scaling up the industry further. This unique platform is poised to showcase India’s entire textile value chain and also highlight strengths in fashion, traditional crafts sustainability initiatives, and much more.

More than 3500 exhibitors will showcase their products and solutions at Bharat Tex 2024 spread across 2,00,000 sq. meters and more than 40,000 trade visitors from around more than 40 countries are expected to participate. Across all four days of the event, the show will also hold knowledge sessions, seminars and conferences, CEO roundtables, B2B & G2G meetings, important announcements, product launches and collaborations, and more. Live demonstrations, cultural events, fashion presentations, trade talks, and other such engaging activities will be planned.
