China’s Jack taps AI & robots for 30% garment factory efficiency gain

Jack Technology, a leading Chinese sewing machine manufacturer, has adopted Siemens technology to transform into AI-enabled intelligent garment manufacturing, applying low-code software and digital engineering technology to the research and development of next-generation sewing equipment and humanoid robots.

This collaboration is expected to achieve quantifiable benefits across all stages of product development and production, increasing production efficiency by 30%.

Leveraging Siemens technology, the collaboration will help Jack Technology accelerate digital innovation across its entire apparel manufacturing business.

This partnership integrates Siemens’ low-code application development, product engineering, and intelligent automation solutions, aiming to create a more flexible, agile, and software-centric production environment.

Jack Technology will implement a Siemens integrated digital technology solution. One will be through Intelligence Center X’s Mendix, which Jack will rapidly build, deploy, and iteratively optimize various manufacturing and robotics-related applications.

The other is relying on Designcenter engineering software, which will provide full-process technical support for complex mechanical systems such as humanoid robots, from product design and simulation verification to production and manufacturing.

At the same time, Siemens will also provide Jack Technology with specialized technical training, and the two parties will jointly create a digital platform specifically for the sewing equipment industry.

This comprehensive solution effectively simplifies product development processes, reduces R&D complexity, and provides end-to-end technical support for the large-scale application of artificial intelligence (AI) and humanoid robots in the apparel manufacturing industry.

The deep integration of digital engineering technology and enterprise-level intelligent systems will bring quantifiable operational benefits to enterprises. Jack Technology anticipates that this digital upgrade will effectively shorten product development cycles, improve product quality, optimize the entire production process, reduce overall operating costs, and increase overall manufacturing efficiency by up to 30%.
