Eurofins Assurance receives Certification Body accreditation from IOAS for GOTS and Textile Exchange programmes

The Eurofins Assurance network of companies is pleased to announce that it has obtained Certification Body accreditation for its office in India from IOAS for certification programmes, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and Textile Exchange, which promote sustainable practices in the textile industry, ensuring organic and recycled materials’ traceability, fostering transparency, and empowering communities.

After rigorous assessment and review, IOAS has approved various Eurofins Assurance offices for GOTS and Textile Exchange programmes with the Eurofins Assurance office in India receiving Certification Body status, recognising our quality and integrity in the certification field. Eurofins Assurance will be able to provide the following certification standards in Asia and Europe, with plans to further increase coverage into the future:

  • Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
  • Textile Exchange
    o Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
    o Organic Content Standard (OCS)
    o Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)
    o Content Claim Standard (CCS)

Eurofins Assurance’s customers across the world will be able to utilise a proprietary Eurofins Assurance GOTS and Textile Exchange digital platform, Impact Trace, to deliver a streamlined certification process to clients. In this upcoming platform, customers can manage their bookings and document upload, review certification progress and obtain their audit reports and Transaction Certificates easily in one place.

This accreditation further showcases Eurofins Assurance’s commitment to providing more solutions that contribute to driving sustainability activity and achievements across multiple industries.
