International Designers Michael Ruggiero and Annaiss Yucra to Headline Source Fashion’s January 2026 Sustainable Catwalk

Date:

Source Fashion, the UK’s leading responsible sourcing show, is proud to announce that Italian designer Michael Ruggiero and Peruvian-born, Spain-based designer Annaiss Yucra will headline the Source Fashion Catwalk at its upcoming edition, taking place at Olympia London from 13–15 January 2026. Both designers are alumni of the Redress Design Award, the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition, and represent a new generation of global visionaries reshaping fashion through circularity, innovation, and cultural storytelling.

Their participation forms part of Source Fashion’s catwalk partnership with Redress, the Hong Kong based environmental NGO dedicated to accelerating the industry’s transition to circular fashion through education, designer empowerment, and consumer engagement. As part of this collaboration, the Source Fashion Catwalk brings to the fore designers whose work challenges fashion’s linear model and champions responsibility at every stage of the garment lifecycle.

Global Sustainable Talent Takes Centre Stage
Michael Ruggiero (Italy) is known for his commitment to zero-waste pattern cutting and meticulous design engineering, Michael Ruggiero creates sculptural, expressive garments that eliminate unnecessary fabric waste. His work reflects a belief that circularity is both a creative catalyst and a moral imperative. Ruggiero said, “Taking part in the Source Catwalk show is a great opportunity for me, as it allows my zero-waste design work to reach a wider audience committed to circularity and responsible fashion. Presenting selected pieces from my collection in London, a city that has always embraced innovation and inclusion is both an honour and an encouragement to keep pushing forward and creating new sustainable fashion narratives.”

Annaiss Yucra (Peru / Spain) is a rising force in Latin American and global fashion, Annaiss Yucra blends indigenous Andean craft, social activism, and material innovation. Her collections explore identity, community, and environmental justice through contemporary silhouettes and experimental textiles. Her brand prioritises circularity through waste-derived fabrics, recycled yarns, and the development of compost textil, a material created from textile scraps. Yucra commented, “Being part of the Redress community has transformed my path as a designer. Showcasing at Source is not only an honour but a reminder of why we create, to push conversations on circularity, identity, and responsibility forward. I am proud to represent Latin American craftsmanship and innovation in this global platform.”

A Catwalk Platform for Innovation and Responsibility
The Source Fashion Catwalk, delivered in partnership with Redress, offers a dynamic and visually compelling exploration of how sustainability and creativity converge in the hands of leading emerging designers. Running three times daily throughout the show, the catwalk features responsibly produced collections that embody circular design thinking and challenge the conventions of mainstream fashion.

This January’s edition places international voices and cross-cultural perspectives at its heart, reflecting both organisations’ shared mission to inspire change through global collaboration. “This partnership with Redress marks an exciting next chapter for the Source Fashion catwalk,” says Suzanne Ellingham, Director of Source Fashion. “Michael and Annaiss represent the innovation, purpose, and global creativity that are driving fashion forward. Their work demonstrates that circular design is not just possible, it is transformational.”

As Source Fashion continues to champion transparency, innovation, and responsible sourcing across the global supply chain, this January’s catwalk will offer buyers, brands, and retailers a powerful demonstration of circular design in action. Visitors can expect to discover new partnerships, meet mission-driven manufacturers, and draw inspiration from designers who are reshaping fashion’s future. Join us at Olympia London from 13–15 January 2026 to experience the Source Fashion Catwalk and explore the industry’s most forward-thinking suppliers, materials, and ideas.
