(Seoul, South Korea – May 11th, 2026) – ShinWon Corporation (CEO: JJ Park), a South Korea-based global apparel manufacturer, has been featured in Fashion Redressed II, a BBC StoryWorks series exploring innovation across the global fashion industry. The feature highlights ShinWon’s smart factory operations in Indonesia and its end-to-end supply chain management capabilities.
Fashion Redressed II is the second season of a documentary series produced by BBC StoryWorks in collaboration with the Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing a more sustainable fashion industry.
The series examines how the fashion industry is reimagining itself from within to address pressing environmental and social challenges, including supply chain transparency, sustainable materials, and responsible manufacturing. It highlights the work of innovators and companies around the world finding transformative solutions to these shared challenges. The first season, which aired in 2023 and featured global companies including eBay, Spinnova, and Lenzing Group, has accumulated over 5 million views, drawing widespread attention throughout the industry.
In this series, ShinWon is featured in the chapter titled “The System” which focuses on the technologies, standards, and platform innovations enabling the fashion industry to build more transparent and accountable supply chain structures.
The episode offers a compelling look at ShinWon’s globally integrated production network and its people- centered manufacturing philosophy. Through the voices of its own team members, the episode highlights ShinWon’s proactive approach to responsible supply chain management, ESG accountability, and the on-the-ground leadership that defines its culture.
Central to the feature is ShinWon’s smart factory in Kuningan, Indonesia, which is highlighted as a benchmark for the future of sustainable apparel manufacturing. The LEED Gold-certified facility combines automated production with AI-powered data analytics to optimize efficiency and end-to-end visibility across its operations. The factory serves as a flagship model within ShinWon’s global network of 25 entities across 10 countries, exemplifying the company’s vision for next-generation responsible manufacturing.
ShinWon continues to advance a sustainability strategy built on three pillars: digitalization, inclusivity, and transparency. The company has integrated an AI-driven analytics system and Retraced, a blockchain-based supply chain transparency platform, to establish full traceability from raw materials to finished garments, while driving improvements in production efficiency. ShinWon is also deploying advanced technologies including 3D virtual sampling and predictive design tools to minimize material waste and shorten lead times, making a measurable contribution to its environmental targets.
“We are proud to share ShinWon’s approach to responsible manufacturing and supply chain innovation with a global audience through BBC StoryWorks,” said JJ Park, CEO of ShinWon Corporation. “We believe technology and transparency must go hand in hand to help build a more sustainable fashion industry. ShinWon will continue investing in production environments where both people and innovation can grow together.”
