(Seoul, South Korea – September 4th, 2025) – ShinWon Corporation (CEO: JJ Park), a leading global apparel manufacturer, announced that its Guatemalan subsidiary, Daniel Tex, S.A., took part in the 2nd National Job Fair held in Santa Lucia Milpas Altas on August 29, reinforcing its commitment to youth employment and community development.
Hosted by Guatemala’s Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (Mintrab), the fair attracted over a thousand job seekers and more than 30 companies across industries including apparel and construction materials. Daniel Tex welcomed more than 400 visitors to its booth, where HR managers provided one-on-one consultations and presented career opportunities in production, quality control, technical roles, and administration.
Operating five subsidiaries in Guatemala—including Daniel Tex, S.A., ShinWon GT, S.A., and Fashion Stitch Guatemala, S.A.—alongside its local sales office, ShinWon has consistently generated stable and long-term jobs in the region. The company also implements a broad portfolio of employee-friendly policies such as women’s empowerment training programs, maternity support kits, onsite medical clinics, and recognition programs for outstanding employees. Through this fair, ShinWon extended its long-standing CSR initiatives to local youth, reinforcing its vision of being “a company that grows together with local communities.”

In anticipation of global trade shifts, ShinWon has proactively reinforced its Central American operations – establishing a local sales office in 2023, launching a dedicated activewear facility in 2024, and acquiring leading apparel manufacturer Modas Blue in 2025. With 15 entities across Guatemala, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the United States, ShinWon now employs approximately 30,000 people worldwide.
