Trident Group Commissions Additional 5.40 MWp Rooftop Solar Power Project at Budhni, Madhya Pradesh

April 02nd 2026 | Budhni, Madhya Pradesh: Trident Group has successfully commissioned an additional 5.40 MWp Rooftop Solar Power Project at its state‑of‑the‑art Budhni manufacturing facility. This newly commissioned solar capacity marks yet another major step forward in Trident’s longstanding commitment to renewable energy and environmental stewardship. With this addition, the
total installed solar power capacity at the Budhni plant has now risen to an impressive 57.32 MWp, further strengthening the Group’s position as a sustainability‑driven industrial leader.

Trident’s continued investment in renewable energy reflects its unwavering focus on operational excellence, energy efficiency, and responsible growth. The expansion underscores the Group’s decade‑long efforts to embed clean, green, and affordable energy solutions across its manufacturing ecosystem—significantly reducing carbon emissions and reinforcing its ESG vision.

The Budhni facility previously operated with 51.92 MWp of installed solar power capacity, running at 100% utilization. The commissioning of the additional 5.40 MWp rooftop solar project on March 27, 2026, further amplifies the site’s renewable energy footprint. Developed with an estimated investment of approximately INR 10 crore, the project exemplifies Trident’s forward‑looking sustainable energy initiatives and its continued commitment to building a greener future.
