Call for Papers: Innovation Day & Forum
On a single focused event day, innovations from the fiber and textile sector take center stage. Directly in the foyer of the Dornbirn GFC, innovators present themselves at the heart of the congress – among the most important decision-makers and key players in the international fiber and textile industry.

Participating companies benefit from multiple presentation opportunities:

Submission criteria:
Participants are asked to describe their innovations based on the following points: WHAT – The Innovation: Describe the innovation and the underlying idea. What is new compared to existing technologies, materials, or processes? WHY – The Business Case: Why is this innovation relevant to the industry? Explain the value: performance improvement, cost advantages, new applications, market potential, or strategic importance. HOW – Industrial Implementation: How is the innovation implemented in practice? Describe the level of industrial readiness (pilot, first industrial application, commercial deployment) and the pathway to market.

The 5th Dornbirn GFC-ASIA 2026, co-organized by the Dornbirn GFC, DYETEC, KOFOTI and Korea Society of Clothing and Textiles (KSCT), will be held on May 22 at the KOFOTI (Korea Federation of Textile Industries), South Korea as a 1 day event.

From the reputation as a world class city, Seoul, we welcome you to the 5th Dornbirn GFC-ASIA 2026. To present furthermore the most important developments and findings, we kindly invite you to submit your lecture proposals for 2026 program.

Lenzing Young Scientist Award 2026
For the fifth time, the Lenzing Group is honoring young researchers with the Lenzing Young Scientist Award for excellent research in fibers and textiles.

This year’s topic is “High-Performance Cellulosics: Premium Fibers for Next-Generation Applications”. The focus is on developing innovative, sustainable, and high value fiber solutions that
elevate performance while enabling true circularity across the textile and nonwoven industries. This topic reflects Lenzing’s strategic drive toward premium fibers, advanced material applications,
and low impact, future ready technologies.
