Cambodia’s overseas shipments of garments and clothing accessories continue to display encouraging signals.
In July 2026 alone, clothing exports totaled $1.42 billion, surging 20.54% from $1.18 billion compared to the same month in the previous year.
Across the opening seven months of 2026, garment export earnings were $7 billion, rising almost 8% against the equivalent stretch during 2025.
According to the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE), apparel exports reached 33.5% of Cambodia’s overall exports totalling $20.81 billion across January to July 2026.
Goods falling under HS code 61, covering knitted or crocheted articles of apparel and clothing accessories, reached $4.55 billion, up 6.1% in the first seven months of ongoing year.
Meanwhile, shipments under HS code 62, covering apparel and clothing accessories not knitted or crocheted, totalled $2.17 billion, up 11.4%.
The South-East Asian country had 46,649 apparel manufacturing factories and employed around 21 lakh workers at the close of 2025.
