Türkiye ranks first in Europe and fifth worldwide in home textile exports, accounting for a 2.6% share of worldwide home textile exports.
This was informed by Türkiye Trade Minister Ömer Bolat who also added that home textile exports totaled US $767 million in the first four months of the ongoing year.
He also noted that the country exports its textile products and apparels to 211 countries and ranks seventh globally in textile and garment exports and stands third within the European Union (EU).
According to Bolat, exports of textile products reached $9.4 billion in 2025, $18.6 billion in clothing exports, $2.9 billion from carpets and floor coverings, and $3.2 billion from home textiles. “This led to textile and garment exports reaching $31 billion,” Bolat added.
