Mafatlal Industries debuts D2C home fashion store with 400+ products

Date:

Mafatlal Industries Limited (MIL), has strengthened its direct-to-consumer (D2C) footprint by unveiling Mafatlal Home Fashion.

The purpose-built online store offers shoppers more than 400 home-textile and household-essential items directly.

The range covers bedding, bath, baby and kids, and seasonal lines. Bedsheets headline the offer with upwards of 150 designs, supported by dohars, comforters, blankets, towels, children’s bedding, baby essentials and mattresses.

Speaking at the launch, Priyavrata Mafatlal, CEO of Mafatlal Industries Limited, said: “Mafatlal Home Fashion is a considered move in the way we are shaping our consumer business.”

“We bring more than 120 years of textile expertise to this category, and we now want a direct connection with the people we make for. Marketplaces gave us reach. Our own platform gives us insight, and insight is what builds a brand over the long haul,” he added.

Mafatlal further said, “We will use it to refine our products, react more quickly to consumer demand, and develop Home Fashion into a meaningful part of the Mafatlal business,”

The site will run in parallel with the brand’s existing presence on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Meesho.

Shoppers can browse the full home-textile range in a single place, while the company gains first-hand knowledge of shifting tastes and buying behaviour, which will inform decisions on product, design and customer engagement.

The launch arrives as India’s home-textile sector picks up speed. Industry estimates put the market at US $11.91 billion in 2026, climbing to $16.76 billion by 2031, with the growth of e-commerce counted among the main drivers.

Beyond individual buyers, the platform also provides bespoke home-textile solutions for corporate gifting, spanning employee gifting, client engagement and events.

Mafatlal Home Fashion comes after the debut of Mafatlal MedFits earlier in 2026. Together, the two platforms signal a clear strategic course for Mafatlal Industries: creating company-owned digital channels in every relevant consumer segment.

Looking ahead, Mafatlal Home Fashion will steadily widen its home and lifestyle assortment while continuing to enhance the online shopping experience.
