H.P. Cotton Textile Mills’ net profit jumps 20% in Q1FY’27

H.P. Cotton Textile Mills Limited reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 102 lakh for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking a 20% year-on-year increase from Rs 85 lakh in same quarter of fiscal 2026.

Despite the profit growth, consolidated revenue from operations declined 13% to Rs 3,118 lakh in quarter ending June 2026, down from Rs 3,591 lakh in the corresponding period last year.

In the reporting quarter, consolidated total income stood at Rs 3,153 lakh, compared to Rs 3,632 lakh in the same quarter of prior fiscal.

Total expenses decreased to Rs 3,012 lakh from Rs 3,480 lakh in the earlier fiscal period, while profit before tax was Rs 141 lakh, up from Rs 152 lakh in the first quarter of previous fiscal. Tax expense included deferred tax charges of Rs 39 lakh.

Earnings per share (basic) increased to Rs 2.60 from Rs 2.17 in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, while paid-up equity share capital remained unchanged at Rs 392 lakh.
