Denim major and Ahmedabad headquartered Nandan Denim has posted a quarter-on-quarter surge in profitability for the three months to 30 June 2026.
Net profit climbed 55.6% to Rs 14.80 crore against Rs 9.51 crore recorded in the preceding quarter or fourth quarter of fiscal 2026.
Turnover for the April-June period or the first quarter of fiscal 2027 came in at Rs 622.39 crore, marking a 15.26% growth from the Rs 539.98 crore logged in the preceding quarter
However, when compared with the first quarter of fiscal 2026, revenues contracted sharply by 40.59% in the quarter under review.
Income from non-core operations eased to Rs 2.43 crore in the review period, down from Rs 9.39 crore in the January to March 2026 months.
The company’s total income for the quarter amounted to Rs 624.82 crore, ahead of Rs 549.37 crore reported in the previous quarter, but down from Rs 1,049.21 crore achieved in the year-ago quarter.
On a per-share basis, both basic and diluted earnings stood at Rs 0.10 (on a face value of Rs 1 per share) for the quarter under review, an improvement on the Rs 0.08 recorded in the first quarter of fiscal 2026.
