Founded by Erling Persson in 1947 with a single store, H&M Group is now a global fashion and design company with over 4000 stores in more than 79 markets worldwide and online sales in 60 markets. Group’s fashion brands are H&M, COS, WEEKDAY, CHEAP MONDAY, MONKI, & OTHER STORIES, ARKET, SINGULAR SOCIETY, SELLPY. They do business with over 570 commercial product suppliers who manufacturer products for H&M brands in over 1100 tier 1 factories in Europe, Asia and North America.

Q1 (December 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025), H&M Group’s net sales in the first quarter increased by 3% to SEK5533 M. Gross Profit amounted to SEK27169 M, this corresponds to a gross margin of 49.1%. Selling and administrative expenses amounted to SeK25938 M. Operating profit amounted to SEK1203 M, corresponding to an operating margin of 2.2%. The result after tax amounted to SEK579 M.
