Sanjay Lalbhai led Arvind Ltd achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue and EBITDA, helped by expansion in its Advanced Materials Business (AMB), stronger volumes and the absorption of Dalco-GFT.
Operating revenue for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, climbed 23.1% to Rs 2,918.62 crore, from Rs 2,371.14 crore in the comparable quarter.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 27% to Rs 331 crore from Rs 262 crore, and the EBITDA margin widened by 40 basis points to 11.4%, compared with 11% a year ago.
The Ahmedabad based company booked a 42% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 151 crore for the September quarter of FY27, against Rs 106.74 crore in the same period a year earlier.
According to Arvind Ltd press release, total expenditure rose 24.6% to Rs 2,786.81 crore, from Rs 2,237.22 crore.
Even so, escalating raw material, utility and freight costs continued to squeeze textile margins.
Segment wise performance
The textile division generated revenue of Rs 1,999 crore, up 10.9% year on year, with EBITDA at Rs 190 crore.
Its EBITDA margin slipped to 9.5% from 10% a year earlier, as the company pointed to dearer raw materials and only partial pass-through of those increases to customers.
Advanced Materials revenue jumped 80.8% to Rs 805.48 crore from Rs 445.63 crore. Segment EBITDA rose to Rs 119 crore from Rs 60 crore, while the margin improved to 14.8% from 13.6%.
Because the latest quarter includes Dalco-GFT, acquired in May 2026, like-for-like comparisons with the prior-year period are less straightforward.
The others segment posted revenue of Rs 191.31 crore, against Rs 184.74 crore a year earlier.
